The Rock breaks silence on WWE NXT after reconciling with Cody Rhodes

The Rock appeared in the final segment of WWE NXT New Year's Evil, which was interesting. Although he had limited time, he broke his silence on reconciling with Cody Rhodes.

One of the criticisms regarding the RAW on Netflix debut was that The Rock was less in character and more of "himself." He reconciled with Cody Rhodes but planted no seeds for a future feud despite doing just that on the RAW after WrestleMania 40.

Tonight on NXT, Rock went on to mock fans who criticized him for reconciling with Cody Rhodes and told them to know their role, shut their mouth, and enjoy the ride The Final Boss is taking them on:

This was an interesting response, as there was speculation over how "nice" The Final Boss was on the RAW on Netflix premiere. While there was momentary tension between him and Roman Reigns, some speculate that this is largely a ploy on his part.

After his RAW on Netflix debut, it was assumed that he wouldn't compete at WrestleMania 41, despite being heavily rumored to be on the card for almost a year.
