"There's only one correct answer" - Chelsea Green calls for 39-year-old star to return to WWE

Chelsea Green has shared that she wants to see a former Intercontinental Champion back in WWE. The Hot Mess was referring to her husband, Matt Cardona.

Formerly known as Zack Ryder, he was released by the company in April 2020 due to budget cuts. A year later, his wife, along with numerous other talents, was let go from her contract. She returned in 2023 after Triple H took over creative and recently became the inaugural Women's United States Champion. Meanwhile, The Deathmatch King competes for several promotions, including AEW and Ring of Honor.

A wrestling account recently posted on X asking people to name an ex-WWE star who should be brought back. Chelsea Green responded that there was only one right answer and inserted a GIF of the 39-year-old Matt Cardona.

"LOL…….. there’s only one correct answer," she wrote.

Chelsea Green expressed interest in wrestling two major celebrities

The Hot Mess Many celebrities have stepped into the squared circle over the years. This week's episode of RAW was packed with many big names.

During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Chelsea Green named Cardi B and Vanessa Hudgens as the two people she'd love to wrestle with. The High School Musical star has frequently appeared on WWE TV and is a big wrestling fan.

"Okay, I want to wrestle Cardi B, but now that I keep seeing Ms. Vanessa Hudgens, I think I might also swerve. I think I'm going to give myself a match with Vanessa Hudgens and a match with Cardi B. Those are my dream celeb matches right now," Green said.

Chelsea has been the Women's United States Champion for nearly a month and has yet to defend her title. It will be interesting to see who her first challenger is.
