Vince Russo has slammed WWE's booking of a popular star following her match on SmackDown this week. This was the Women's US Champion's friend and ally, Piper Niven. For those unaware, Niven lost to Michin in singles action this week.

Speaking on the latest edition of BroDown on Backstage Pass, Russo criticized WWE for how they booked Piper Niven on SmackDown, noting she had been booked to lose week in and out.

"They just beat her to death every week and I don't understand it." [From 22:22 onwards]

Earlier in the podcast, Russo compared Niven's booking to Nia Jax, saying he failed to understand why WWE won't make a star out of Niven like they did with Jax.

"Mac, I don't understand for the life of me, and I've said this so many times before, why do we keep beating Piper Niven? Are you going to sit there and tell me that there, if you built this right, you're going to tell me there couldn't be money in Piper Niven and Nia Jax? [From 22:02 onwards]

Micheal Cole teased a stipulation for a potential rematch between Chelsea Green and Michin for the Women's United States Championship on SmackDown this week. Fans will have to wait to see if these two superstars run it back soon.
