WWE is set to kick off the year with SmackDown lasting three hours and RAW moving to Netflix. Meanwhile, Grayson Waller seemingly teased a huge breakup from Austin Theory and hinted which star would turn face in the process.

Theory and Waller have been losing a lot lately and can't seem to get on the same page in the Stamford-based promotion. However, the Aussie star might have seemingly given away what would happen next between the two.

In an interview with The West Sport, the 34-year-old WWE star addressed their current issue and run on Friday Night SmackDown. During this, Waller expressed how they are failing as a tag team and seemingly hinted that he's willing to do anything compared to Austin Theory, who wants to work hard and be humble. This might indicate that Theory would turn face if Waller decides to end their team:

"We look at the top of the card and we see the guys who are there, and we know those are our spots. It's a situation of no one's going to hand them to us; we're going to take them. Unfortunately, that's where I and [Austin] Theory clash a little bit. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get to those positions. While Theory wants to work hard and be humble and all those things. He's the good guy of the group," Waller said. (From 11:02 to 11:22)

Grayson Waller explains how teaming up with Austin Theory helped their careers on WWE SmackDown

In 2023, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller became a tag team, and it was an instant hit. Last year, they became the first WWE Tag Team Champions of the Modern Era when they split the belts at WrestleMania XL.

In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Waller states these opportunities and moments wouldn't have presented themselves had they both not teamed up on Friday Night SmackDown:

"I think we've had a lot of opportunities that we might not have had if we were both doing singles at the same time... I think it's the advantage of us being a team and us being so driven and working hard together has given us those opportunities," Waller said. [From 11:36 to 11:54]

The two are currently on WWE SmackDown, but things can change in the coming week.
