Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell pointed out a major flaw in an undefeated tag team in the Stamford-based promotion. That would be The Motor City Machine Guns. The duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are on a four-match winning streak on SmackDown.
Last month, The Motor City Machine Guns captured the WWE Tag Team Championship in just their third match with the company, and the duo currently has four victories to its name in the promotion. However, Dutch Mantell pointed out a major flaw and hoped that the management would remain strong behind the two.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, Mantell claimed that Shelley and Sabin are not good talkers but they are good wrestlers. The 74-year-old veteran has high hopes for the tag team and wants the management to be behind the duo regardless of the drawbacks.
"Chris Sabin, he can't talk. They're not strong talkers. I hope they're going to get behind these guys because they're great in the ring. I predicted dead on the vine, dead on delivery. I hoped The Motor City Machine Guns were going to follow on the same path. But, I think they're doing a pretty good job here with that one," Dutch Mantell said. [47:07 - 47:36]
