Undertaker did not get booed on WWE RAW like Hulk Hogan for a simple reason, explains veteran (Exclusive)

Hulk Hogan had a rather unexpected reaction to his recent WWE RAW appearance, which was quite different from The Undertaker's warm welcome. According to wrestling veteran Eric Bischoff, their political choices could be the reason for that difference.

Hogan has been quite vocal about his support for Donald Trump, which has led to him being heavily involved in politics. While The Undertaker has also taken part up to a degree, Bischoff thinks he has done a good job keeping his wrestling career separate. According to the Hall of Famer, this was why the two legends got vastly different reactions from fans.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bischoff stated:

"I think the heat he got was a lot more because he was front and center with Trump. And in response, people are gonna say ya, what about Undertaker? First of all, Undertaker didn't come out and cut a promo. Undertaker rode in on a motorcycle, did a lap, and said goodbye. It's a different scenario." [6:18 onwards]

The WWE veteran made it clear why The Undertaker was not the same as Hulk Hogan

Eric Bischoff said that The Undertaker did not face the same heat from fans in LA despite having interviewed Donald Trump.

Adding to his previous comments on The Wrestling Time Machine, the WWE veteran explained that, unlike Hulk Hogan, The Phenom did not use his wrestling gimmick for his political work.

"Yes, Taker interviewed Donald Trump. Taker makes no bones about the fact that he is a conservative, but Undertaker wasn't out there in his full gimmick, campaigning for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in this case." [6:39 onwards]

It remains to be seen if either Hulk Hogan or The Undertaker will appear again in WWE anytime soon.
