While WWE Saturday Night's Main Event was an entertaining show, a veteran was not pleased with a certain aspect of it. A particular segment involving Triple H apparently caused him infuriation.

After the SNME show went off air, Kevin Owens was seen being confronted by Triple H for the former's actions. This led to the WWE CCO shoving The Prizefighter, who in retaliation attacked The Game as well. Despite not technically being shown on NBC, the segment recieved much acclaim on social media channels.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, veteran journalist Bill Apter stated that the off-air segment recieved phenomenal attention. This, according to him, was enough to prove that the segment should have been a part of SNME itself.

"The video allegedly had 12 million views of Kevin Owens and Triple H shoving each other. And my question is, that would have been something so great to have been on NBC. Why didn't they do it there?" [6:55 onwards]

Bill Apter was also disappointed with a WWE star's performance

The veteran journalist was most excited to see Kevin Owens' match at SNME. However, the bout apparently did not live up to the hype.

Speaking on the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter stated that the WWE star did not show up as the maniac he had expected. He said:

"The hype that didn't live up to was, unfortunately, to me, was Kevin Owens. I was waiting for him to come out like a madman, and he didn't go crazy till after the match when he and Triple H got into it. So, that was a little less exciting than I thought it would be." [4:22 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for Kevin Owens in WWE.
