Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about The New Bloodline main eventing SmackDown this week. The faction was involved in a six-man tag team match.
It was all-out chaos during the three-hour debut of SmackDown as The OG Bloodline's Sami Zayn and The Usos teamed up to face The New Bloodline in a huge six-man tag team match in the main event. Jey Uso hit The Uso Splash on Jacob Fatu but Solo Sikoa was the legal man and he planted his older brother with a Samoan Spike, winning the match for his team.
During this week's Smack Talk, Mantell highlighted that WWE wanted to promote The Bloodline ahead of a huge Monday Night RAW. He felt the idea was to put over Solo as a huge threat and the creative team accomplished it with this week's main event:
"It did what they intended it to do. They just wanted to get it and they like to advertise it because it sounds like a main event match. They wanted to get out of it without hurting anybody. They accomplished all those things." [From 44:06 to 44:21]

It was an important victory for Solo Sikoa as it will give him confidence ahead of his next match.
Sikoa is scheduled to face Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat this Monday on the Netflix premiere of RAW.
