Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular names in WWE and has spent nearly two decades with the company as a performer on different brands. Recently, Kurt Angle debunked a rumor about their supposed tussle on a plane.

In his early days, Brock Lesnar often wrestled Kurt Angle and had multiple matches with the Olympic Gold Medalist on SmackDown, as they were the top two stars on the show. However, there were rumors about a strange match between the two on a plane.

During an appearance on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the popular manager asked Kurt Angle about this rumored bout. Angle, who was the guest on Mantell's show, debunked the rumor and stated they never had a match on a plane and only wrestled inside a ring:

"[Did you and Brock Lesnar have a semi-match on a plane coming back from Europe? Is that true?] Haha, no, no. Brock and I had a match in the WWE ring," Angle clarified. (From 28:22 to 28:37)

Top WWE star recalls making Brock Lesar break character on television

Brock Lesnar is a hard man to break inside the square circle. However, R-Truth was able to crack him up. In 2020, the two shared the ring, and The Beast Incarnate broke character in front of the camera before hitting Truth with an F-5.

In an interview on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, R-Truth addressed the impromptu spot with Brock Lesnar and how it came about when Paul Heyman met him backstage. Moreover, The Beast Incarnate had no idea what Truth was going to say live on WWE TV:

The thing with that was, I come to Gorilla and Paul was there. He’s like, ‘Hey, we got a bet going on.’ I was like, ‘What bet?’ He’s like, ‘That you can make Brock laugh.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ He said, ‘We’re not going to tell him what you want to say, we don’t want to hear what you want to say. We just go.’ I said, ‘Man, I think we should let Brock know what we’re gonna do.’ He said, ‘Nope, we’re not gonna let Brock know it all.’ And that was the most impromptu thing that just came off like sliced bread. It was just great," Truth said. [H/T - CVV]

It'll be interesting to see if Lesnar ever returns to WWE in the future.
