WWE has provided an update on Solo Sikoa's next appearance during the latest episode of SmackDown. He didn't show up on the blue brand this week after losing to Roman Reigns on RAW last Monday night.
The former NXT North American Champion and The OTC opened the show competing in Tribal Combat. It was announced that the winner would be awarded the Ula Fala and would officially be known as The Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns emerged victorious, and his cousin The Rock presented him with the Ula Fala after the bout.
Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu were the only Bloodline members who appeared on SmackDown this week. Tonga Loa is still injured, which is why he has been absent for the past few weeks. The heel stars were involved in a few brawls during the show. In the main event, they defeated Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso in a tag team match.
WWE announced during SmackDown that Solo Sikoa will make his return next week. This comes after there was uncertainty regarding his future following his loss to Roman Reigns. Reports suggested that Sikoa would be "fired" following his loss but it seems that will not be the case and it remains to be seen whether his stablemates will still accept him as the leader.
Solo cannot call himself The Tribal Chief anymore, so it'll be interesting to see what he does next. Some fans believe that Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu will turn on him. Only time will tell what happens.
