Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about possible opponents for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. The American Nightmare is currently the biggest babyface in the company.

PWInsider recently reported that John Cena was being considered as a possible name to face Cody at The Show of Shows. Cena will be on his farewell tour next year, competing in several events. The Cenation Leader will also be looking to win the elusive 17th World Championship and may face Rhodes to fulfill that goal.

On the latest episode of the Smack Talk podcast, Dutch Mantell noted that it would be a great match given the star power. However, he felt no one would book John Cena to beat Cody Rhodes one-on-one. The veteran manager claimed the match would be predictable and WWE wouldn't go that route:

"It's according to how they pace it and how they present it. I still don't think there's any doubt in anybody's mind who's gonna win. They know Cena is part-time. They're gonna come in and they're gonna put the title on him? I don't think that's gonna happen." [From 56:09 to 56:34]

While WrestleMania is still a few months down the line, Cody Rhodes has to first deal with the threat of Kevin Owens. The two stars will face off in a Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble with the fate of the Undisputed WWE Championship hanging in the balance.
