Jimmy Hart's latest WWE appearance didn't turn out to be how he would have expected. Both Hart and Hulk Hogan were booed at RAW's Netflix premiere the moment they appeared for The Hulkster's promo.

Speaking on the latest edition of BroDown on Backstage Pass, Vince Russo addressed the negative fan reaction to Jimmy Hart and Hulk Hogan on WWE RAW, noting he ''really felt bad'' for The Mouth of The South.

"What was more devastating to me was, bro, you're booing Jimmy Hart. Oh my God, Jimmy Hart is the closest thing to a saint that I know. And poor Jimmy Hart had to be out there, man. And they're booing him out of the building. I felt bad for Hulk, but I really felt bad for Jimmy Hart," he said. [From 06:55 onwards]

Earlier on the podcast, Russo provided his opinion on why fans mercilessly booed Hulk Hogan on WWE RAW's Netflix premiere, noting that The Hulkster might've been set up by the streaming giant's executives to get booed by the crowd.

"Here's where my conspiracy theory kicks in. Was it the Netflix executives that [sic] wanted Hogan there? So what did they do? They set him up, man. The wrestling people set him up; told him to put the beer over because they knew. Well, bro, either they knew or they're completely clueless," he said. [From 05:25 onwards]

It will be interesting to see if The Immortal and Jimmy Hart make an appearance on WWE's live programming in the future.
