WWE veteran's words that angered Rikishi also "knocked" out another legend (Exclusive)

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently found himself at odds with another veteran, owing to the latter's words. Another legend in the business, Bill Apter, also shared his thoughts on the matter.

Vince Russo had commented on a recent Jey Uso segment, stating that Jey's emotional moment seemed too much considering it was for the Intercontinental Title. He also used the term 'prop' for the belt, which enraged Rikisho to the point where he called out Russo for a fight.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Bill Apter also addressed the issue and seemed to agree with Rikishi's perspective. While he made it clear that he had a deep respect for Russo as well, he stated that the WWE Hall of Famer's reaction was understandable.

"When he called you know, that belt is just a prop, why go crazy, to me the whole feel of bringing the entertainment value and the pro-wrestling value to the fans and to yourself, even though yes it's a writer and a producer that gave you all this, it's the big promotion and to the company you've always wanted. So when I read that he [Vince Russo] just called it a prop, it just knocked me out because I can't look at it that way and I never will. And I understand why Rikishi was so POed about it.
