Tonight's WWE SmackDown will air live from Utah Jazz’s home arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The show will once again revolve around Roman Reigns and the Bloodline saga. The company will continue its build towards Survivor Series.
Cody Rhodes will come face-to-face with Kevin Owens tonight. Further, the Women's United States Title tournament will also continue on the blue show tonight.
On that note, here are three last-minute predictions for WWE SmackDown this week:
Shinsuke Nakamura made a surprising return on last week's episode of WWE SmackDown. The wrestling veteran, who was on a hiatus since April, made a comeback to lay waste to LA Knight.
Given how things unfolded, we could see the duo lock horns in a title match at Survivor Series. The company has announced only three matches for the PLE so far. Hence it could add LA Knight vs. Nakamura for the United States Title to the Survivor Series card.
Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes will face off on WWE SmackDown tonight. However, things may turn south sooner rather than later in the segment as The Prizefighter could attack The American Nightmare.
This potential angle could lead to Nick Aldis and other officials getting involved, only for KO to lay waste to them. If that is indeed the case, the company's CCO, Triple H, could take matters into his own hands and fire Owens from the company.
However, this could be done only to delay the inevitable rematch between Owens and Rhodes, as The Prizefighter would likely be reinstated following Survivor Series.
The Bloodline interfered in Seth Rollins' match against Bronson Reed on RAW to cost him a potential win. Considering the fact that Reed has joined The Bloodline for the WarGames Match at Survivor Series, Rollins could be the final member of The OG Bloodline for the high-profile clash.
The Visionary could appear on tonight's WWE SmackDown to reunite with his former Shield partner, Roman Reigns. Rollins could mend fences with The OTC and become his 'Shield', much like he was for Cody Rhodes earlier this year.
The Visionary, along with Roman Reigns, could take out The Bloodline and Bronson Reed to stand tall over the heels.
