The history between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins adds a layer of intrigue to every interaction and segment they share. Recently, as The Original Tribal Chief sought a fifth member for his OG Bloodline team before CM Punk’s arrival, the faction approached The Visionary twice, only for Rollins to reject the offers.

Many fans had hoped for a Shield reunion if Roman Reigns and Rollins ended up on the same team at Survivor Series: WarGames, but that possibility never materialized.

However, in a recent interview, the OTC subtly addressed the future of The Shield in WWE and ensured whether a reunion between him and Rollins would take place.

Roman Reigns wants to keep Seth Rollins a chair's length away

The Original Tribal Chief recently appeared in an interview on SI Media with Jimmy Traina. During the interview, Reigns was asked about the chair angle with Seth Rollins during their last match in the squared circle, or if fans are overanalyzing it by comparing it to Seth's betrayal of The Shield.

In response, Roman Reigns shared his opinion, stating that The Visionary is a lesson for him about whom to trust and avoid.

"Anytime I have a chance to f*** him up, I'm going to take it very much as you got to believe that you got to believe it, but that's how I feel about him. Anytime I have a chance to pull the trigger on him, I'm going to, um, he, he's a constant reminder and, and a lesson to myself on, you know, who to trust and how to trust them. And if you can't, how to keep them. And that's where I like to keep him a chair's length away," said Roman Reigns.

Furthermore, the former Undisputed WWE Champion emphasized keeping Seth at a considerable distance and seemed uninterested in any Shield reunion with him.

The OTC also rejected Seth Rollins as the potential fifth member for WarGames on the recent SmackDown

Before CM Punk's highly anticipated main event arrival, the Bloodline appeared in a backstage segment on the recent episode of SmackDown. During this segment, the faction was seen scouting potential stars to approach after facing multiple rejections.

At one point, Sami Zayn suggested reaching out to Seth Rollins again, but Roman Reigns gave him a stern look and firmly dismissed the idea. This highlights that even the Original Tribal Chief is unwilling to reunite with his former Shield ally under any circumstances.

Fans could witness a mini Shield reunion at Survivor Series

Despite Roman Reigns rejecting the idea of reuniting with Seth Rollins, fans could still witness a mini-reunion of The Shield at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. This may unfold if The Visionary appears to attack Bronson Reed during the match.

The rivalry between Reed and Rollins has yet to reach its conclusion, and it's possible that Rollins will show up at Survivor Series to take down the Tsunami. This would ultimately help the OG Bloodline, with Rollins helping Reigns' faction secure the victory.
