Ultimately, the decision rests with The Great One, who must determine his willingness and availability to undergo the rigorous training regimen he deems necessary to prepare for the match at his current age.

Among several veterans, Bully Ray aka Bubba Ray Dudley recently shared his opinion on when Dwayne Johnson should face his cousin in the ring. He discussed this on an episode of the Busted Open podcast.
The WWE Hall of Famer stated that the highly anticipated match between The Rock and Roman Reigns must happen at WrestleMania 41 due to its significant box office potential worldwide:
"Rock versus Roman is too big a box office all over the world for it to never happen, and I would say it kind of has to happen this year at WrestleMania. Because if we get all the way to next year, who the hell knows? I mean, Vegas is the perfect place for this, the perfect opportunity for this," said Bully Ray.
