CM Punk went through hell at Bad Blood 2024 and has not been seen on WWE TV since the RAW episode following the premium live event. The Best in the World is recovering from the injuries he sustained during his gruesome match against Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell, and his next steps seem uncertain.

In his appearance on the RAW following Bad Blood, The Best in the World stated that he was not in the best condition following his trilogy of brutal matches against The Scottish Warrior and that he didn't know what the future held for him. Punk also stated that he would be back when he could, but seemed quite uncertain on details.

During a recent edition of WrestlePurists' Raw Review, Ibou reported that there were plans of Punk challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series. If these reports turn out to be accurate, it can be said that The Best in the World is not too far away from his WWE return and still has a lot left in his tank.

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins is being planned for WrestleMania 41

While Punk is reportedly set to face Gunther at Survivor Series, he has a massive match seemingly lined up for himself at WrestleMania 41. While his rivalry with Drew McIntyre seems to be over, Punk has one more star who is apparently not the biggest fan of The Best in the World.

Seth Rollins and CM Punk have been quite vocal about the hatred they have for each other. As per a recent report from WRKD Wrestling, WWE has plans to feature a Rollins vs. Punk match, seemingly at WrestleMania 41.

With a lot of anticipation for a potential match between both men, it would be intriguing to see how WWE builds a storyline between them following Punk's return.
