Seth Rollins and CM Punk have been engaged in their much-awaited feud for weeks. Last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW saw both men spitting some bitter words about one another, which quickly turned into a brawl.

Towards the end of the segment, the security team rushed out to separate them. Following the chaos, General Manager Adam Pearce officially booked a singles match between the archrivals for the January 6 edition of RAW on Netflix.

Recently, RAW correspondent Jackie Redmond shared a picture with Seth Rollins. She revealed that she’ll be featured in a sit-down interview with The Visionary, and that things are going to get more “real” between Rollins and Punk as the former World Heavyweight Champion is all set to reveal some more details about his equation with The Best in the World.

In a shocking twist, Seth Rollins could blame CM Punk for when Rollins betrayed Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose and broke The Shield. The Visionary might reveal he and Punk shared a bond as he had with Reigns and Ambrose. However, Punk ghosted him after leaving the company in January 2014.

Due to this, Rollins could say he lost his faith in friendship, and the same year, in June, he accepted Triple H’s offer and betrayed his buddies before they could leave him. The 38-year-old could reveal The Voice of the Voiceless' actions affected him and his relationship in the promotion majorly.

Has Triple H booked Seth Rollins vs CM Punk early?

Seth Rollins vs CM Punk was long in the creative team's plans. They were initially set to clash earlier this year at WrestleMania 40. However, the Stamford-based promotion had to alter the plans after Punk sustained a real-life injury while competing at the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

The match was going to happen anyway. However, It seems Triple H and creatives had to pull the trigger a bit earlier as Rollins was engaged in a bitter rivalry against Bronson Reed, which was seemingly scheduled at least till Royal Rumble 2025.

However, Reed suffered an unfortunate injury at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 and was sidelined. This seemingly forced the promotion to go with the Punk-Rollins saga earlier than expected. However, this is all speculative. It remains to be seen how this saga unfolds in the coming months.
