WWE is heading towards its final premium live event of the year, Survivor Series 2024. The Stamford-based company has been working hard to craft a promising match card for the Vancouver show and has come up with several high-stakes bouts thus far.

In the Men's WarGames match, The OG Bloodline will face the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. Meanwhile, in the Women’s WarGames bout, Team Rhea Ripley will lock horns with Team Liv Morgan.

Besides the WarGames matches, three title contests have been announced. Gunther will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. LA Knight will face Shinsuke Nakamura with the United States Title on the line. Bron Breakker, Sheamus, and Ludwig Kaiser will square off in a Triple Threat contest for the Intercontinental Championship.

In this article, we will look at four mistakes the Stamford-based company must not make at Survivor Series 2024.

#4 Gunther should retain his WWE title

Gunther has been the World Heavyweight Champion since SummerSlam 2024. While he has been dominant as RAW's top titleholder, former champion Damian Priest is a big threat to his reign.

Over the past few weeks, The Ring General has looked weak when compared to Priest, leading fans to believe he might lose on November 30. However, Triple H should not book The Austrian Anomaly to lose. Gunther could have several high-profile matches as the World Heavyweight Champion. Many viewers want to see him take on legends like John Cena and Goldberg in the coming months.

#3 The Shield should not reunite, or it might ruin a long-running storyline

The latest episode of WWE SmackDown saw Paul Heyman make his much-awaited return. He revealed CM Punk as the final member of The OG Bloodline for WarGames. However, before Punk combined forces with the Reigns-led squad, The Usos and Sami Zayn tried to convince Seth Rollins to be the final member. The Visionary kept on refusing, citing his history with The Head of the Table.

Fans and pundits believe Seth Rollins might get upset with Punk taking his spot. While he has refused to help Roman Reigns, The Visionary still wants to lock horns with Bronson Reed. The Best in the World taking on The Auszilla might not sit well with Rollins.

For those unaware, Roman Reigns seemingly had real-life heat with Punk. Moreover, The OG Bloodline leader feuded with The Second City Saint alongside Rollins when they were part of The Shield. Therefore, many expect the former teammates to reunite and target the multi-time AEW World Champion.

While the abovementioned scenario would be interesting, WWE should not pull the trigger on The Shield's potential reunion. The creative team has been building Rollins and Reigns’ rivalry for years, which should ideally culminate in a match at a future WrestleMania. Hence, they must not join forces before their much-awaited showdown.

#2 Team Rhea Ripley should not lose

Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley have been feuding for a while now. In a shocking twist at SummerSlam 2024, Dominik Mysterio betrayed Mami and kissed Morgan. Since then, Ripley has been trying to exact revenge on The Judgment Day duo.

Fans now feel that the feud's booking has become repetitive. Morgan has consistently used underhanded tactics to defeat The Nightmare. However, WWE must not repeat the same mistake in the Women’s WarGames match.

Team Ripley should secure a win to help Mami gain momentum. This would allow her to remain in the title picture and feature in a big show like Saturday Night's Main Event or Royal Rumble 2025.

#1 Roman Reigns shouldn’t be pinned

Roman Reigns’s OG Bloodline is all set to face Sikoa’s Bloodline. Many fans believe The Original Bloodline is going to lose the match due to Reigns' issues with CM Punk.

Regardless of whether The OG Bloodline wins or loses, Roman Reigns should be protected. He got pinned by Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel 2024, shocking fans worldwide. If Reigns takes the pin in Canada, it may hamper the credibility of his character.

As The Tribal Chief, Reigns had a long unpinned streak, which was a major part of the gimmick. Triple H and the creative team should protect Reigns to portray him as a dominant performer heading into WWE WrestleMania 41. He is rumored to face The Rock at The Show of Shows and needs to look strong in the much-awaited contest.
