Welcome back to another edition of WWE News Roundup. In today's article, we will look at topics about Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss, among others.
Also, a 33-year-old has announced retirement from in-ring action while a former RAW Women's Champion welcomed a baby daughter into the world. So without any further delay, let's check it all out:
In one of the most delightful stories of the day, former WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey took to Instagram to announce the birth of her second child. The former RAW Women's Champion penned a heartfelt note and shared a few pictures:
“Our little girl came into this world during a windstorm into a city on fire, so grateful she made it safe and sound. Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne ❤️.”
Many notable names from the pro wrestling world sent their love to Ronda Rousey on this joyous occasion, including Charlotte Flair, Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya.
Braun Strowman recently provided an unfortunate update on his health, noting that he has lost over 30 lbs after catching a very bad flu. Strowman also revealed that he will be missing the upcoming edition of SmackDown due to the same.
Nia Jax reached out to the Monster of all Monsters after the update, leaving a heartfelt message.
"Feel better," Nia wrote.
Alexa Bliss has been away from action for nearly two years. While the former RAW Women's Champion has been back in training, she previously hinted that her return is being stalled due to creative reasons.
WrestleVotes provided a major update on the situation, noting on Backstage Pass that the plans for her return are already in motion and fans may not have to wait long to see Little Miss Bliss back in action.
Former WWE star Laura Di Matteo announced her retirement from in-ring action earlier today. The 33-year-old posted an emotional message on social media to break the news:
"My time in the ring has come to an end. I love wrestling and I will always be a fan however, as I’ve gotten older, the fear of hurting myself or my opponent has taken over and I could no longer perform at my best. I have so much respect for my fellow wrestlers, it’s a beautiful but tough sport and they deserve so much credit. Wrestlers please look after one another!! I’ve loved every moment of my career - I’ve been places I never imagined I would go and met people I never imagined I would meet, and I even got to work for WWE which was always the dream."
Laura Di Matteo had a brief stint in the global juggernaut in 2021 when she was a part of NXT UK. She majorly competed on the European indie circuit during her time inside the squared circle.
