It will be the final premium live event of the year this week. It seems that WWE has geared up to end the year on a high note.

Ahead of Survivor Series, which will take place on Saturday night, several interesting news and rumors are circulating about the company, and the following list presents four of the biggest stories of the day.

#4. Jade Cargill's injury isn't legitimate

Jade Cargill was attacked last week on WWE SmackDown and has now been replaced as part of the WarGames Match at Survivor Series. The Women's Tag Team Champion was reportedly taken out of the match because of a legitimate injury and isn't expected to be back in WWE for some time.

PWInsider has reported today that these rumors are 100% inaccurate, which left the WWE Universe wondering why Cargill was attacked and taken out of the Survivor Series match.

#3. Roman Reigns opens up about retirement

Roman Reigns' career has been up and down over the past few years, but his part-time schedule appears to be working well for him at present. The former World Champion recently spoke to Sports Illustrated, where he was able to open up about his potential retirement, something he gave a cryptic response to.

"Maybe we could stop, but there’s just so much meat left on the bone. There’s so much to the performances that I’m learning, not only about myself but just the performance in general, and how to manipulate them, how to get better at them, how to control the crowd better. Just all these different things, so many different stories to tell, new family members coming in."

#2. Drew McIntyre WWE return update

Drew McIntyre hasn't been seen since his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk, where he needed 16 stitches in his head, but it seems that he could be getting closer to a return.

According to PWInsider, there have been some pitches and a discussion backstage about McIntyre's return and the directions in which he would go. McIntyre had been focused on CM Punk all year, and now that their feud had seemingly ended, it would be interesting to see who would be his next target.

#1. Is Roman Reigns mad at Paul Heyman?

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman didn't seem to have spoken since his SmackDown return. It seems that Reigns may have an issue with this since he recently claimed that Paul was acting shady and even noted that he had some questions for his Wiseman while speaking to Sports Illustrated.

“Paul’s been incredibly shady if you don’t ask me. I’ve seen some of the speculation, ‘Well, you didn’t answer his phone calls’ and this and that. But at the end of the day, when I take my leave, there’s no question what I’m doing. I’m recessing back to family; change the hats, put on that fatherhood hat to refocus. That way I can come in and come back and dominate and run the show and represent my family at the highest capacity, at the highest standard possible."

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman will soon be seen at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
