Celtic will host Ross County at Celtic Park on Saturday in another round of the 2024-25 Scottish Premiership campaign. The home side are flying in their league duties and are firm favorites to lift the title at this stage of the season as they sit atop the table with 34 points, 11 points above rivals Rangers in third place.
They beat Hearts 4-1 in their last league outing, taking a two-goal lead early in the second half via efforts from Kyogo Furuhashi and Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn before Adam Idah came off the bench to score a late brace and seal the points for the Bhoys.
Ross County, meanwhile, have had their struggles in the league this season but remain hopeful of avoiding the drop. They returned to winning ways in the league last time out, beating Motherwell 2-1 with Ronan Hale and Joshua Nisbet getting on the scoresheet before their opponents scored a late consolation goal.
The visitors sit eighth in the table with 15 points from 14 matches and will now be looking to take inspiration from their latest result when they head to the home of the champions this weekend.
Celtic are undefeated in their last 10 games across all competitions, picking up seven wins in that period. They are undefeated on home turf all year and will head into the weekend clash with confidence sky-high.
The Staggies' latest result ended a three-game winless streak and they will now be looking to kick on from that on Saturday. They are, however, winless in their last seven games on the road and could see defeat here.
