The EFL Championship returns with a fresh set of fixtures as Luton Town and Hull City lock horns at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. Both sides are level on points in the bottom half of the table and will be looking to get one over the other this weekend.

Luton Town were on the receiving end of a humbling 5-1 defeat against Middlesbrough when the sides met at the Riverside Stadium just before the international break.

Before that, the Hatters snapped their three-game winless run on November 6, when they edged out Cardiff City 1-0 courtesy of a second-half strike from Jacob Brown.

Luton will be backing themselves to bounce back this weekend as they take on an opposing side that have failed to win their last five encounters since September 2019.

Hull City, on the other hand, failed to find their feet last time out as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion at the MKM Stadium.

The Tigers have gone seven consecutive matches without a win in the league, losing four and claiming three draws since a 3-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers on October 1.

With 15 points from 15 matches, Hull City are currently 19th in the Championship standings, level on points with Preston North End, Cardiff City and Saturday’s hosts.
