Manchester City ended their run of five consecutive defeats by throwing away a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 against Feyenoord at the Etihad Stadium in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, November 26. The reigning English champions were atrocious in the game's last minutes, extending their winless run to six games.
Guardiola's side scored in the 44th minute after Erling Haaland won and converted a penalty. Ilkay Gundogan doubled the lead for Pep Guardiola's men in the 50th minute. Matheus Nunes set up Haaland for his brace three minutes later to make the score 3-0, as the Cityzens seemed to be cruising to a win.
Things started to unravel in the 75th minute after Anis Hadj-Moussa took advantage of poor defending to make it 3-1. Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez scored Feyenoord's second in the 82nd minute. The Eredivisie side completed the comeback against Manchester City in the 89th minute when Igor Paixao skipped past Ederson to set up David Hancko, who made it 3-3.
