Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo shared a message on his social media handles after leading the Knights of Najd to a win in the AFC Champions League. The Saudi giants claimed a 3-1 victory away from home against Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa to rise to second place in their group.

Stefano Pioli's men produced a commendable reaction after they fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of newly promoted side Al-Qadsiah in the league on Friday.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to take his career tally to 913 goals, leaving him just 87 goals shy of the 1000-goal mark. The 39-year-old had the time after the game to make a celebratory post on X, branding the win as a big one.

"Big win tonight!" Ronaldo wrote.

The Portuguese superstar continued his rich vein of form for Al-Nassr, taking his tally for the season to four goals in four games in the AFC Champions League. The 39-year-old has also scored seven goals in the league for Pioli's side this season and is their top scorer.

Al-Nassr will return to third place in their AFC Champions League group if rivals Al-Hilal manage to win their game in the competition against Al-Sadd, another Qatari side.

Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted after 74 minutes, with teenage star Wesley taking his place on the pitch. He made two key passes and attempted eight shots before his substitution for the Brazilian.
