Arsenal fans on X want Kai Havertz sold after witnessing his poor performance during their 5-3 penalty shootout loss against Manchester United. The two sides faced each other in the third round of the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, January 12.

They played out a 1-1 draw in normal time. Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net in the 19th minute only to see his effort ruled out due to an offside in the build-up. Bruno Fernandes curled the ball past David Raya to give Manchester United the lead in the 52nd minute. However, Diogo Dalot was sent off (61') after receiving a second yellow card due to a poor foul.

Gabriel Magalhaes' volley deflected in to level the scores two minutes later. Arsenal had a big chance to win the game in normal time after they won a penalty soon after, but Altay Bayindir made a top save to deny Martin Odegaard.

Manchester United defended heroically to take the game to penalties. Unfortunately, for the Gunners, Havertz was the only player not to convert his spot-kick, with Bayindir doing well to save his effort.

Moreover, Kai Havertz had two golden opportunities to score in the second half from very close range but scuffed both his shots off target. Despite creating two chances and winning his side a penalty, the Germany international landed just one shot on target from four attempts.
