Manchester United star Leny Yoro said he doesn't regret joining the Red Devils last summer. The 19-year-old arrived at Old Trafford from LOSC Lille in July on a five-year contract that runs until 2029, with the option of an additional year.

Yoro signed for Manchester United for a reported fee of €62 million along with €8 million in add-ons, making him the most expensive player aged 18 or younger and one of the most expensive centre-backs in history.

Although his signing came with certain expectations, especially due to his fee and skillset, Leny Yoro did not have the start he expected with the Red Devils. Two weeks following his transfer, the Frenchman made his unofficial debut in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal (July 27), where he sustained an ankle injury.

Yoro was out of the pitch for 125 days, missing 21 games for the club. He made his official debut for United after coming off the bench in the second half of their 2-0 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League on December 4.

Despite a rocky start to Yoro's journey at Old Trafford, the centre-back recently said he was satisfied with his decision to join the Red Devils. Having played five games in the ongoing campaign, the Lille academy graduate told Telefoot in France (via TribalFootball):

"No regrets about joining Manchester United. In my head, I'd set my sights on playing abroad because that's something I've always been attracted to, especially the Premier League. It's every footballer's dream."

Leny Yoro has started in two of the five appearances he has made for Manchester United. He has yet to contribute to a clean sheet or make a goal contribution.

The 19-year-old made his senior debut for his boyhood club LOSC Lille in 2022. Last season, he helped the Ligue 1 side maintain 20 clean sheets while recording three goals in 44 appearances across competitions.

It remains to be seen if the young talent returns to the form he was in during the previous campaign which reportedly attracted attention from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool in the last summer transfer window.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have struggled in the Premier League so far this season. They are 13th on the league table with 22 points in 17 matches.

Manchester United reportedly ready to make €35m move for Tyler Dibling

Manchester United are reportedly keen on acquiring midfielder Tyler Dibling's signature in the upcoming transfer window. The 18-year-old is currently playing for Southampton and his contract expires in the summer of 2027.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes.net reported that Southampton have estimated Dibling at €35 million, which United are ready to reach.

With Ruben Amorim replacing Erik ten Hag as the Red Devils' new head coach in October, the Premier League giants are looking to make additions aligning with the Portuguese manager's style to strengthen the squad.

The report from Fichajes.net also mentioned that the Red Devils have set aside about €180 million as their transfer budget for the January window, which allows them to make an offer for Tyler Dibling.

Dibling has started in 13 of the 19 matches he has appeared in for Southampton this season, registering one goal and two assists.
