Chelsea fans have called out Christopher Nkunku following their 2-1 Premier League loss to Fulham on Thursday, December 26. Nkunku was a second-half substitute and failed to enhance the Blues’ attack as they conceded two late goals.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 16th minute following a pass from Levi Colwill. In the 82nd minute, Harry Wilson equalized for Fulham after receiving a brilliant cross from Timothy Castagne.

Rodrigo Muniz gave Fulham the lead in added time (90+5’) after being set up by Sasa Lukic. Muniz's dying-minute goal secured all three points for his side as the game ended 2-1 in favor of Fulham.

In 17 minutes on the pitch, Nkunku had a passing accuracy of 60% (3/5). He registered one shot on target and lost possession of the ball three times (via Sofascore).

In the aftermath of the game, fans took to X to express their disappointment with the Frenchman's performance, with one posting:

The Englishman opened the scoring against Fulham, but his goal was unable to secure any points for the Blues.

Palmer has now scored 12 goals and registered six assists in 18 Premier League appearances.
