Real Madrid have been handed a big boost as two key players have returned to training on the grass. David Alaba and Brahim Diaz were seen on the grass taking part in individual training.

Alaba has been out of action since December last year when he suffered an ACL injury against Villarreal in LaLiga. Some reports suggested that he might not be able to return this year and might have to wait until January 2025. However, his return to training on grass is a big positive in his recovery process.

With Real Madrid suffering numerous injuries, Alaba's return would be highly awaited. Dani Carvajal has suffered an ACL injury while Eder Militao has also suffered some small niggles after recovering from his ACL injury.

Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz has also been out of action for Los Blancos, having suffered a hamstring injury in September. As per journalist Melchor Ruiz (via Madrid Universal), the Morocco international has also returned to training on grass and could be back soon.

He might target a return for Real Madrid's clash against Valencia away in LaLiga on November 2. Prior to his injury, Diaz scored one goal and provided one assist in 126 minutes of playing time across six appearances this season.

Spain star pays tribute to Real Madrid and Manchester City superstars after win over Denmark

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro shared his thoughts after Spain's 1-0 win over Denmark at home in the UEFA Nations League 2024-25 on October 12. He dedicated the victory to Real Madrid legend Dani Carvajal and Manchester City midfielder Rodri. The duo recently suffered an ACL injury and are both out for the season.

Porro, who replaced Carvajal in Spain's lineup, said (via Football Espana):

“The first thing to do is to send this victory to Carvajal and Rodri, they are very important within the group, the captains. We knew that Denmark were a team that had been doing things very well, but we played a great game. The coach told us to do the things we had been doing during the week.”

Spain also beat Serbia 3-0 at home on Tuesday, October 15, with Porro providing an assist. He has also been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid following Carvajal's injury, via Caught Offside. Porro is known for his attacking prowess and also his ability to play as a natural or an inverted full-back.
