"You are very bad and you are going home" - Vinicius Jr mocks Pablo Maffeo as Real Madrid beat Mallorca

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr poked fun at Mallorca defender Pablo Maffeo after helping Los Blancos pick up a win in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final. The Spanish champions have set up a date with arch-rivals Barcelona in the final following a 3-0 triumph over Mallorca.

Vinicius found himself in a battle with Argentine defender Maffeo. The Brazil international had the last laugh and was caught on camera mocking the right-back during the game.

He said via All About Argentina (translated):

"You are going home, you are going home! You are very bad, you are very bad and you are going home."

Real Madrid qualified for the Spanish Super Cup by winning the 2023-24 LaLiga title, while Mallorca did the same by finishing as runners-up in the Copa del Rey last season. Both sides locked horns in the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, with Los Blancos emerging victors.

Former Manchester City defender Maffeo enjoyed a tough battle with Vinicius Jr throughout the game and ensured that the Brazilian star did not find the back of the net. The Los Blancos man attempted only two shots in the game, creating three chances and completing three dribbles.

Vinicius received a two-game ban for LaLiga after he received a red card for striking Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski in the face in their last meeting. However, the Brazilian ace was cleared to feature in the Super Cup as Real Madrid beat Mallorca 3-0.

Los Blancos waited until the second half to go ahead through Jude Bellingham in the 63rd minute, with the Englishman firing home a rebound after Kylian Mbappe was denied. Carlo Ancelotti's side doubled their lead through Vinicius' replacement Brahim Diaz in the second minute of added time.

Rodrygo capped off the win with a goal three minutes later as Real Madrid set up a Clasico final against Barcelona.
