Barcelona star Pablo Torre is reportedly not willing to leave the club in the January transfer window despite having multiple offers. The midfielder has not been gaining minutes despite performing well on certain occasions.

Pablo Torre signed for Barcelona in 2022 from Racing Santander for a reported €5 million plus variables. The 21-year-old initially played for Barca Atletic before making his way into the first team.

Torre spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Girona before returning to Barca at the beginning of the current season. In 22 outings for La Blaugrana across competitions, Torre has recorded four goals and two assists.

According to AS (via Barca Universal), Pablo Torre has no intention of leaving Barcelona in the winter transfer window despite his lack of game time. The midfielder is keen on fighting for his place in the first team. The report also indicated that Torre has some offers on the table but is still not interested in considering them in January.

In the absence of midfielders like Frenkie de Jong and Gavi due to injuries, Torre managed to gain some playtime under Hansi Flick this season. He started four LaLiga games this season in overall nine appearances with 267 minutes of playtime. Torre also notably scored a brace against Sevilla in LaLiga.

However, the Spaniard was sidelined after other midfielders became available. He is reportedly hopeful of more opportunities coming up with the onset of Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana. Moreover, with Frenkie de Jong losing his position in the team, Flick could count on Torre as an alternative.

According to reports from SPORT and Mundo Deportivo (via Barca Universal), Barcelona are close to signing Bayer Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah as a free agent in January. Tah is reportedly yet to sign the dotted line as he will only be free to do so after January 1. He will officially move to the Catalan side in July, after his contract with Bayer Leverkusen expires.

Earlier reports from SPORT indicated that Jonathan Tah will be signing a three-year-deal with an option for a fourth year. However, new reports from Mundo Deportivo claim that the German star has agreed on a five-year-deal until 2030. The report also suggests that Tah's entourage has confirmed that Barcelona are in a 'pole position' to sign the center-back.

Jonathan Tah was a part of Bayer Leverkusen's 2023-24 squad that won the Bundesliga for the first time in the club's history. In that season, Tah had 13 clean sheets in 31 Bundesliga appearances. Tah's signing will add more quality to Barcelona's defense, with the potential departures of Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen reportedly on the cards.
