According to a report by Fichajes, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami are plotting a move for Neymar and two ex-Real Madrid stars ahead of the Club World Cup. The MLS franchise is said to be trailing potential moves for Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas as they try to build one of the best teams in the league.

The Herons were a dominant feature of the recently concluded MLS campaign, bagging the most points ever recorded in the league phase of the division. Their 74-point haul saw them claim the Supporters' Shield and a place in the expanded Club World Cup set to be held in the United States of America in 2025.

If the Neymar move materializes, the MLS franchise would reunite the famed MSN attacking trio. Messi could also reunite with former Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas, who he played alongside at Paris Saint-Germain.

What Neymar said about potentially joining Lionel Messi at Inter Miami

Neymar discussed possibly joining Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami someday. The Brazilian formed a lethal partnership with his fellow South Americans during their time together at Barcelona.

The Brazilian, who first left the Blaugrana for a world record fee to join Paris Saint-Germain, discussed the possibility of joining them with ESPN Argentina, saying:

"I don't know. I have some doubts about that. I don't know if I'll play in Brazil again. I'd love to play in the US, actually. I'd love to play there at least for a season."

Neymar previously lamented how he and Lionel Messi were treated during their time together in Paris, telling Globo's Esporte Espetacular (via Mirror):

"I was very happy for the year he had, but at the same time very sad, because he lived both sides of the coin. He went to heaven with the Argentina team, won everything in recent years, and with Paris he lived hell, we lived through hell, both he and I.
"We get upset, because we're not there for nothing, we're there to do our best, [to] be champions, try to make history. That's why we started playing together again, we came together there so we could make history. Unfortunately, we didn't make it."

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar formed the famed MSN trio at Barcelona. The trio bagged 364 goals and 173 assists between 2014 and 2017.
