"He thinks he's Harry Styles": Fans react as Timothee Chalamet arrives to his movie premiere on a Lime e-bike
Timothee Chalamet's appearance at the red-carpet premiere of his film A Complete Unknown in the UK is trending in the headlines. The reason was his entry on a Lime E-Bike as the actor arrived to attend the event, as per The Mirror. However, he has yet to address the reason for using the bike.
According to Sky News, Timothee Chalamet was surrounded by the media people while he came on the bike and took it to the stand. He then seemingly clicked a photo of the bike on his phone. A report by CNN stated that Lime Bikes are owned by Uber and have been used by people under the age group of 18 to 24.
Notably, the Interstellar star opted for a black blazer and trousers alongside a black silk shirt featuring blue and green flowers on top, as reported by The Express Tribune on January 15, 2025. The shirt was tucked in and he completed the look with black ribbed pointy-toe loaders, a snakeskin belt, a Cartier diamond necklace, and rings.
Meanwhile, netizens took to the comments section of the Pubity's Instagram post to share their reactions to Timothee Chalamet's entry at the red-carpet premiere. One of them wrote:

The response referred to the moment when Harry Styles was riding an electric rental bike in May last year. Daily Mail stated at the time that the singer appeared in an Umbro jumper and white T-shirt, and also added Adidas trainers, white socks, and sunglasses to complete the look.
Among the other responses, a user questioned if Lime paid Timothee to use the bike alongside another alleging that it was a marketing stunt. A person stated that Timothee was trying not to fall off the bike followed by an individual who wrote that Timothee's actions would solve the problem of global warming around the world.
Timothee Chalamet plays the lead role in A Complete Unknown
The biographical musical drama features Chalamet appearing as the famous singer Bob Dylan. The film focuses on the life of Dylan and his rise to popularity over the years alongside his performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, as per the summaries mentioned on IMDb.
A Complete Unknown was released on December 25, 2024, and has received positive feedback. It was also nominated in different categories at the Golden Globe Awards held this month.
While appearing for an interview with Alisa Chang of NPR last month, Timothee Chalamet addressed his experience of playing the role, saying that he had an opportunity to learn more after the film was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wonka star was questioned about the thing which was hardest to learn about Bob Dylan when he was preparing for the role and he replied by saying:
"I don't know. It was really a process of osmosis. You know, I don't have categories. I don't have a ruler with different sections of stuff that I'm learning. I really try to do it all at once."
