On October 14, 2024, a former advisor for Ecko Clothing filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing the rapper of oral r*pe. The victim, whose identity remains unknown, is listed as John Doe in the complaint, which was filed under New York City’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

According to details from the lawsuit, as reported by AllHipHop, the incident occurred around May 2008 in the stockroom of Macy's flagship store in Herald Square, Manhattan. John Doe alleged that Diddy, along with three bodyguards, entered the stockroom, where the plaintiff was hit by something that could possibly be a pistol at the base of his neck, causing him to fall to his hands and knees.

The lawsuit mentions:

“Combs approached plaintiff while plaintiff was still on his hands and knees."

It further claims that Diddy then forced the plaintiff to participate in oral r*pe for about two minutes. As per the lawsuit, the rapper made derogatory remarks while forcing the plaintiff into the act. The lawsuit also mentions that after he was done, the rapper threw John Doe's head aside and reportedly said something similar to the effect of "shut up or I'll kill you."

Ex-Ecko employee's lawsuit claims company failed to act on report against Diddy

According to the lawsuit, after s*xually assaulting the former Ecko employee, Diddy left the stockroom and began passing out merchandise to a crowd gathered at Macy's. After the incident, the plaintiff allegedly tried to report the assault to the store's security and did not receive any help for the same.

Macy's also reportedly refused to let the plaintiff return to their Herald Square location. Three weeks after the incident, Macy's CEO allegedly pressured Ecko to fire the plaintiff. The brand was reportedly signing a multi-million dollar deal with Diddy's Sean John Clothing brand. This led to Ecko firing the plaintiff.

The lawsuit also alleged that the report of the assault was erased from Macy's records or destroyed given no action was taken based on the report. The details of the lawsuit mention:

“Plaintiff ultimately had to move out of New York. Plaintiff still fears for his life as a result of the incident and the threats made against him on that day, including the fact that plaintiff was known to Combs by way of his work with rival clothing company Ecko.”

The plaintiff is currently seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

Diddy was arrested from a hotel in New York on September 16, 2024, and a grand jury later indicted him on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In a statement to Metro.co.uk, the rapper's lawyers said that they have full confidence in the "facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process." Moreover, they said that the truth will prevail, which is that the rapper hasn't s*xually assaulted anyone- man, woman, minor, or adult.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.
