The East St. Louis, Illinois native has managed to accumulate a huge fanbase with her singing skills. She has worked with record labels such as Quality Control, Motown, and Universal.

Although Layton Greene was not born to a family of musicians, she was encouraged by her mother to establish herself in this field. Before joining different record labels, Layton Greene released a song on SoundCloud in 2017 which helped expand her fanbase on social media. She then performed at a club in Knoxville, Tennessee alongside Kash Doll the same year.
