The 36-year-old mogul shared with the media outlet that being a boy mom was "an Olympic sport for real." Riri also used the phrase as a caption when she shared a funny video of her son RZA trying to climb out of his playpen on September 28, 2024.

Rihanna was also quick to add during the red-carpet interview that motherhood was enjoyable. Per Billboard's report on October 14, 2024, she said:

"It's fun. I literally- I enjoy it so much. I am just looking at them and living through them, and I'm amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries."

She further added:

"They're teaching me how to be their mom as much as I'm teaching them how to be in this world and guide them as best as I can."

The Diamond hitmaker also shared insights into how her older son, RZA, was handling his role as a big brother. Rihanna, who is also an older sibling, described it as 'rough.' She explained that RZA doted on his younger brother, Riot, and was always there for him:

"It's rough, but the second that his baby brother cries, he's there, like he's running there. He's actually crying, too, he's worried."

The singer then joked:

"It's just hard to share toys and pacifiers."

Riri also praised her longtime partner, A$AP ROCKY, for his recent nomination as one of the co-chairs for the Met Gala 2025, alongside Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and LeBron James.

The Fenty Beauty mogul also expressed appreciation for the theme of the upcoming event, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, and described it as a celebration of culture and history.

She added:

"It's just bringing it to the forefront on a platform where we've been kind of hidden, and it's just accepting it."

In other news, Rihanna's Savage x Fenty launched its first-ever partnership with retail store Nordstrom on October 10, 2024, in Los Angeles. The exclusive launch, which coincided with the debut of the Lavish Lace collection, ensures that Savage x Fenty products will be available at Nordstrom's physical stores.

Speaking with Access Hollywood at the event, per Just Jared magazine's report of October 11, 2024, Rihanna explained the significance of the launch:

"It's a big deal, and it takes me back to being a young lady who aspired to be able to afford something at Nordstrom. I knew that I could meet my customer here. My goal was to have Savage be as accessible as possible, and Nordstrom is the beginning."

At the launch party, Rihanna was dressed in one of the creations from the limited-edition Savage x Fenty x Diesel collection.
