Aspiring hip-hop singer, songwriter, and model Tanea recently claimed to have attended an alleged Diddy freak-off party in 2018, which reportedly left her “traumatized.” She made the claim during her October 12 sit-down with the Soft White Underbelly podcast.

Initially, Tanea alleged that she was invited by an “Arabian prince” with Hollywood connections to accompany him to one of Sean Combs’ “inner parties.” She further explained that she met this Prince while trying to kick off her music career.

However, later, at the 15-minute and 45-second mark of the now-viral interview, she was heard seemingly dropping the name of Azim. In the wake of this, the internet began to connect the dots and speculated that the "Arabian Prince" Tanea was talking about was none other than the Prince Azim of Brunei, the deceased son of Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei, who once had a brief stint as a Hollywood producer.

Here are some of the comments made by netizens on YouTube and Reddit in this regard.

Meanwhile, others speculated that the “Prince” Tanea was talking about was not a real prince but a former British boxer by the name of Prince Naseem Hamed, and she didn’t say “Azim” but rather “Naseem” midway through the 26-minute video. Reportedly, Naseem has been known to be an associate of Diddy.

For those unaware, the now-infamous “freak-off” parties were described by federal prosecutors overseeing Diddy’s ongoing case as “elaborate s*x performances” that involved young and often underaged girls who were compelled to engage in s*xual acts with male prostitutes.

All you need to know about Prince Azim, who reportedly invited Tanea to one of Diddy’s “inner parties”

Prince Abdul Azim was the second son of Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei, who was born in 1982 and raised in the tiny nation on the island of Borneo. He was fourth in line to the throne.

Azim attended International School Brunei and later moved to Singapore to study at the Raffles Institution. He was also an alumnus of the Oxford Brookes University. Professionally, Prinze Azim was a film producer who founded the London-based production company Daryl Prince Productions and had a Rolodex comprising Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson among others.

Some of his projects include You’re Not You (2014), Dark Places, Wild Oats, and The Happy Prince. He was also a fashion designer. He is best remembered for hosting lavish birthday bashes for himself which were attended by Hollywood celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Elizabeth Hurley, Joan Collins, Jerry Hall, and Scarlett Johansson among others.

Prince Azim passed away in October 2020 at a hospital in Jerudong, Brunei, at the age of 38. His younger brother Prince Abdul Mateen shared in an Instagram post a week after his death that Azim succumbed to multiple organ failure from an autoimmune disease called severe systemic vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels) while also battling with bipolar disorder.

At the time of his demise, he had an estimated net worth of $5 billion. The now-deceased prince was gay and faced public scrutiny in 2019 when his father the Sultan of Brunei pushed for capital punishment for engaging in queer s*x and threatened LGBTQ+ activists and he was outed for supporting the same.

However, he was also lauded for his philanthropy. For instance, he designed unisex bags for the luxury brand MCM, the proceeds of which went to the British nonprofit Make-A-Wish Foundation, dedicated to critically ill kids. He also hosted charity events in Brunei and raised awareness for autism.

In brief, exploring Tanea’s alleged experience at Diddy’s freak-off

Over the weekend, Tanea appeared on the podcast Soft White Underbelly where she got candid about her alleged experience at one of Diddy’s freak-off parties. She claimed she tried to share her traumatizing story a couple of years back but “they didn’t believe me."

“I knew it wasn't going to seem true because it was just too much – it was too crazy… people were going to think that I was just lying.”

Tanea explained how at the entry, security reportedly “patted the guests down,” confiscated the cell phones, and locked them in a case. She claimed that the party was being held at an open area inside Diddy’s mansion which seemed like a “rave or something” with n*ked people roaming around, loud music, skinny-dipping in the pool, alcohol, and more.

The model and singer further alleged that there was an individual “choosing” people to be in an “elite” party within the party, which was seemingly to take place inside the main building. Tanea claimed she refused to be part of this other party as she didn’t want to leave her friends behind.

“I'm a good loyal friend, I'm not going to go inside a house where they said my friend can't go, so, we were just walking around mingling. I saw P. Diddy with the prince, I'm not going to say what he was doing… but it was something really s*xual,” she alleged.

Tanea also claimed that Diddy later noticed her and came over to ask her why she didn’t accept the “inner party” invitation. Reportedly, as she was chatting with the hip-hop mogul about her upcoming Cuba trip, his the-then girlfriend came over and complained about why Diddy was talking to Tanea for a long time. Not only that but the woman seemingly rubbed his shoulders and tried to take him away, while Combs allegedly “pushed” her.

Herein onwards, Tanea tried to move away from the situation and tried to investigate what really was going on inside the other party and was “shocked” to see that “stuff” from the “movies.”

"I don't judge people, but you know when people are out of their mind… This corner they're doing this, this corner they're doing that, this corner they're having s*x. I saw one person laid out," the aspiring songstress claimed.

Tanea wrapped up by saying how she started panicking and thought she was “going to get s*x trafficked, or drugged, or something like that,” which is when she quietly and speedily decided to exit Diddy’s mansion. She also mentioned how she realized she was there not for a career push but rather something sinister, and the whole event made her feel like she sold her “soul.”

Notably, earlier in December 2022, Tanea sat down with the same podcast and opened up about her alleged experience at Sean Combs’ infamous freak-off party.
