Mark Zuckerberg announced the collaboration a few days ago

The cover song was teased by Zuckerberg through an Instagram Story shared on November 11, 2024. He added a photo where he was seen inside a recording studio with T-Pain. The duo was spotted wearing headphones and Pain was playing a keyboard. Furthermore, Zuckerberg wrote on top of the picture:

"It's happening guys. It is time."

Mark Zuckerberg also played the acoustic guitar in the collaborative track and his Instagram post on November 14 included a cover photo where he was standing with T-Pain, with the pair holding guitars in their hands. A warning of explicit content was added on top of the cover, which was titled Z-Pain.

According to Atlanta Black Star, Zuckerberg and T-Pain have shared a close friendship over the years as they had once appeared together during a public video conference in August 2022. They had a conversation about social media algorithms and changes to Instagram. T-Pain had also expressed gratitude to Zuckerberg for speaking to him. The latter replied:

"I appreciate you doing this as a public service announcement."

Back in July this year, Mark Zuckerberg received a gold chain from T-Pain and he displayed the same in an Instagram video. He thanked T-Pain for the gift and added:

"Perfect opportunity to show how the new Segment Anything AI research model we're releasing today can track different objects in the same video. Lots of fun video effects will be possible with this."
