4 CM Punk feuds WWE is currently teasing for 2025

CM Punk will be the OG Bloodline's fifth man at WWE Survivor Series: War Games 2024. The Voice Of The Voiceless returned from a brief hiatus with Paul Heyman to back up Roman Reigns and Co. to a massive reaction and huge buzz. He will sit down with the OTC to explain his motivations for joining on the go-home SmackDown for the Thanksgiving Spectacle just a day before they go to war together.

The Second City Saint has had an incredible year, most memorable for his instant classic rivalry with Drew McIntyre. However, the machine never stops, and as 2024 comes to an end, multiple feuds are already being teased for the new year. Eagle-eyed fans have picked up a few instances of subtle foreshadowing that might hold the answers as to whom Punk will lock horns with once 2024 is done.

Here are four massive feuds WWE has teased for CM Punk in 2025

#4. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther seems destined to face CM Punk in 2025

Ever since his earth-shattering WWE return over a year ago, CM Punk has made no secret of his desire to become world champion again. Being a RAW Superstar, he has repeatedly teased going after the World Heavyweight Title. However, he has had his hands full with Drew McIntyre for most of 2024, and has not been able to pursue the gold.

Now that he has put his feud with the Scottish Warrior to bed, he can finally chase the red brand's top title, currently held by Gunther. In fact, most fans expected Punk to be The Ring General's opponent at Survivor Series 2024. This was not meant to be, but the company has continued to tease a future confrontation in the subtle manner that has become one of the trademarks of the Triple H era.

Barring long injury layoffs, we will most likely see Gunther vs. CM Punk in 2025.

#3. CM Punk himself has repeatedly expressed his desire to face John Cena on the latter's 2025 WWE farewell tour

John Cena shocked the WWE Universe at Money In The Bank 2024 by announcing his 2025 retirement. This sent the wrestling world into a frenzy, with most fans immediately launching into fantasy booking mode. One name that consistently appeared near the top of most fantasy opponent lists was CM Punk, an iconic rival of Cena's, with whom he rarely had a bad match or promo, if ever.

The Voice Of The Voiceless himself was asked about a potential final match in the post-MITB press conference, and that question has followed him around since. He has consistently expressed his desire to face The Cenation Leader one more time, making fans wonder if Triple H and Co. have signed off on the teasing.

Whether it's the decision of WWE or WWE Superstar CM Punk, a great deal of fans now want to see these iconic rivals lock up once more in 2025.

#2. CM Punk's return to help the OG Bloodline involved a tense staredown with Roman Reigns

CM Punk's WWE SmackDown return after almost two months off television was massive, amassing over 72 million views on the company's social media. However, amidst all the commotion, some people were skeptical, asking questions about his reasons for helping Roman Reigns and Co. One of the people seemingly asking these questions was Reigns himself, who looked puzzled and cautious.

The duo had a tense staredown, with The Second City Saint seemingly telling The OTC that he was doing it for Paul Heyman, not the former Shield powerhouse. Fans then theorized extensively about the dynamics of Heyman's relationships with both megastars, and if they would be able to coexist.

Given how proud and hot-headed they have both proven to be, it's only a matter of time until they butt heads, leading to a feud revolving around The Wise Man.

#1. Seth Rollins and CM Punk are on a collision course for 2025

Seth Rollins was the first man to confront CM Punk when the latter returned to WWE in late 2023. The Visionary did not mince his words in expressing his strong disdain for The Voice Of The Voiceless, and the duo were reportedly set to clash at WrestleMania XL. However, Punk's injury derailed those plans, and Drew McIntyre took over his archnemesis mantle, having been the man who put him on the shelf.

Rollins has stayed in the picture, though, most notably refereeing Punk's Summerslam match against McIntyre in an eventful shift. There is no love lost between these two self-proclaimed best wrestlers in the world, and The Second City Saint's involvement with The Bloodline is unlikely to help matters.

Come 2025, most likely at WrestleMania XLI, Rollins and Punk are almost certain to come to blows in a WWE ring.
