WWE Monday Night RAW on January 6 is set to be an epic show. This will be the red brand's debut episode on Netflix and many big matches are booked to make the show as big as possible.

One match booked for the event is CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins. This is massive and years in the making. The bout is so big, in fact, that many thought it would headline WrestleMania. A potential WrestleMania main event will be on RAW in two weeks.

Before the Netflix premiere, however, is one last edition of the red brand on the USA Network. It was just revealed last night that The Visionary and The Second City Saint will meet up on the show and go face-to-face.

This article will look at a handful of things that could happen when Seth Rollins and CM Punk have one final confrontation ahead of their dream match on January 6. This includes a big brawl, a special announcement from Adam Pearce, and beyond.

Below are four things that could happen during Seth Rollins and CM Punk's final confrontation before their match on WWE RAW.

#4. They could have a chaotic brawl

CM Punk and Seth Rollins have spent a lot of time talking. Seth freaked out when the superstar returned at WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023, screaming at him from ringside.

From there, they had numerous face-to-face confrontations, but only recently have the two truly begun to scrap. Now, however, it appears to be on sight. Any time these incredible WWE stars see each other, they seem like they're ready to throw hands.

Come Monday Night RAW next week, that might be exactly what happens. If they can't stop from tearing each other to shreds, they may fight all over the ringside area. Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore better watch out!

#3. Security could make sure only verbal barbs are thrown

While the two brawling would make sense given their recent history, it may not be ideal. Triple H and WWE officials are banking on Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk being a major match for RAW's Netflix debut.

If the two talented performers start to fight, there becomes a very real risk of injury. Seth could tear a muscle, similar to what happened to Cody Rhodes in 2022. Alternatively, CM Punk could suffer another physical setback in WWE. Either incident would mean their match won't take place as scheduled, which would be far from idea.

As a result, Triple H and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce may decide to add a wealth of security to the segment. This would mean the two could only trade verbal barbs instead of physical ones, assuring the big bout can go on the following week without a hitch.

#2. Drew McIntyre could interrupt and stir up trouble

Drew McIntyre has been one of the most compelling WWE characters over the past year or so. His heel turn, going from a likable, yet bland babyface, to a whiny villain, has been extremely enjoyable to watch.

Recently, McIntyre has made it clear that in his mind, he is not the villain. Instead, the villains in WWE are Roman Reigns, The O.G. Bloodline and CM Punk. This makes sense, as they've been his biggest rivals in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut for years now.

Given his animosity with Punk, he could interrupt the segment on Monday. Drew could put down The Voice Of The Voiceless while also trying to either align himself with Seth Rollins yet again or simply stir the pot to create more chaos. The more hatred there is between them, the better it is for outsides like Drew who can capitalize on it later.

#1. Adam Pearce could reveal their WWE RAW match will crown a new #1 contender

Triple H runs the creative direction of WWE, but Adam Pearce runs Monday Night RAW. He is the General Manager of the red brand and thus makes big announcements on a regular basis. For example, he is the one who made this big-time bout happen.

With Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk set to be a dream match as it is, Adam Pearce could decide to up the stakes even further. He could reveal during the WWE segment next week that the winner will become the new number one contender.

If CM Punk wins, he could go on to feud with Roman Reigns, clashing with The OTC at WrestleMania. If The Visionary wins, he could try to dethrone Gunther of the World Heavyweight Championship. This announcement, if it happens, would make this upcoming RAW bout even more exciting.
