5 signs Jacob Fatu will betray Solo Sikoa before WrestleMania 41

After losing at Tribal Combat to Roman Reigns on RAW's Netflix premiere, Solo Sikoa didn't appear on the ensuing episode of SmackDown. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga resumed their unchecked ways, attacking anyone and everyone in their path.

Since the duo still went after the same enemies in the most recent edition of SmackDown, they could have been acting on Sikoa's orders. However, without his presence, it's hard to tell what's going on in his group. Could Jacob Fatu betray his Tribal Chief or vice versa?

"Betray" could also mean standing up for himself if Solo takes his frustration out on his most loyal follower. With that in mind, Jacob Fatu could betray Solo Sikoa before WrestleMania 41 due to the next five signs:

#5. Jacob Fatu's words before his match on SmackDown

Before Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga went to the ring for their main event match, The Samoan Werewolf sent a message to everyone. Instead of saying his usual "I love you Solo", he sounded more like an angry man sending a warning to anyone in his path.

Not saying his usual line is out of character for Fatu. Even when Solo hasn't been in the frame, he usually yells the line.

It's become his signature phrase, so not saying it could mean things might change on next week's SmackDown when Solo Sikoa returns. It may just be a matter of who turns on who.

#4. The Royal Rumble is every man for himself

The Royal Rumble always sets the stage for WrestleMania. Feuds are created when one star eliminates another. Big returns and debuts happen from year to year. The 2025 match will be Fatu's first foray into the 'Rumble.

WWE always uses the tagline "Every Man For Himself" and that could be the case after Tribal Combat. While Fatu was blindly loyal to Solo Sikoa, the landscape of the 30-man match could set things in motion for a shift in dynamics.

If Fatu hears the cheers from the crowd, that emotion could take over him and lead him to stand up for himself. He could eliminate Solo or vice versa. "Betraying" Sikoa may have the opposite effect than officials want since The Samoan Werewolf is so unique.

#3. WWE's history of turning Bloodline villains into heroes

When leaders fail or don't live up to their promises, they are often overthrown. It happened with Reigns after WrestleMania 40 after he lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Solo Sikoa took over the mantle and built the stable in his image. While he had less time atop the group, the same could happen to him. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Jacob Fatu could see Solo's failures as a betrayal of their own and turn on his Tribal Chief. It would probably garner sympathy for Sikoa since WWE wants everyone allied with Riegns to be cheered.

WrestleMania 41 could be a perfect place for a one-on-one showdown between the former leader and his most loyal follower.

#2. Solo Sikoa said he would acknowledge Roman if he lost the Ula Fala

Through all the turmoil of the Bloodline Civil War, Solo Sikoa said he would acknowledge Roman Reigns if the latter regained the sacred Ula Fala. The interesting thing is that Reigns didn't return the sentiment.

If the man who brought him to WWE acknowledges someone else as the top dog, it may cause The Samoan Werewolf to snap. Roman Reigns never considered adding Fatu to his Bloodline (in storyline).

When upstarts fall in line or bend their knee to those in power, their most ardent followers can see it as a sign of weakness or betrayal. If Solo acknowledges Roman, it could spark Fatu to turn on his leader.

#1. Jacob Fatu is blindly loyal to "his" Tribal Chief

While Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa followed his orders, Jacob Fatu was the most blindly loyal member of his group. He stands behind him and stares so seriously that it almost becomes comical.

He also yells that he loves Solo over and over, adding to his zealot status. No one is perfect yet people put heroes and others on pedestals. When that leader falls from their high standing, it can cause those followers to do unthinkable things.

Solo Sikoa may reconcile with the OG Bloodline since he was a part of the group at one point. Fatu was not and that blind loyalty could morph into hatred should his Tribal Chief break the mold of a perfect leader.
