Brock Lesnar is known to be WWE’s most lethal force. The Beast Incarnate has wreaked havoc in the ring several times to make a name for himself.

Being a top star and one of WWE’s top draws, Lesnar enjoys a few privileges others can only dream of. This includes getting away with some unscripted moments.

Over the years, Lesnar has gone off-script several times due to various reasons. Whether it was to deliver stiff moves to his opponents, bust open WWE stars, or show his respect to other stars, it has been a wild ride for the former Universal Champion.

Check out the five times Brock Lesnar did not follow the script in WWE.

#5. Seth Rollins made Brock Lesnar mad enough to do the unthinkable

Seth Rollins enjoyed a great rivalry with The Beast Incarnate in 2015. During the time, Lesnar came across as a babyface who would dismantle Rollins and his J&J Security members.

In a RAW segment to hype their match for Battleground, Lesnar took out J&J before ripping off the door from Seth Rollins' sports car parked on the stage. In an insane display of strength, he completely ripped the door and threw it towards the crowd, hitting some fans.

It was an unscripted moment that Lesnar cooked up to showcase what he could do to his opponents. The overall impact of the segment turned out to be invaluable.

#4. Rage against the referees

The referees play a major role in WWE by officiating matches and ensuring everything goes according to the script in the ring. However, Brock Lesnar is a different beast who doesn’t always follow the rules.

During the 2023 Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar entered the 30-man elimination match hoping to go all the way. He was quickly eliminated by Bobby Lashley and went on a wild run outside the ring.

He vented his frustration at a referee and knocked him over the barricade in an unscripted moment. At Elimination Chamber, he fought Lashley in a match and lost by disqualification. He once again punished the referee with two F5s, one being on a broken announce desk in another unscripted spot.

#3. With The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell 2015

Following its PG rating, WWE decided against showing color (blood) on live television. However, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar’s epic match at Hell in a Cell 2015 went against the rules.

The match saw both men get busted open, with Lesnar bleeding profusely from the head. To add salt to the wound, The Beast Incarnate attacked the medic who came out to check on him during the contest.

Brock’s actions likely led to some problems backstage with Vince McMahon, as he broke a major rule with The Undertaker during the contest.

#2. Brock Lesnar couldn't wait to enter the ring at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

Bobby Lashley was taken away due to a storyline injury at WWE Elimination Chamber. The creative team planned to open his empty pod first, before allowing Brock Lesnar to enter the contest.

However, The Beast Incarnate wasn’t aware of the plan and decided to take matters into his own hands. He smashed the protective shield of his pod and entered the contest to wreak havoc.

Brock went on to win the contest after squashing his opponents. It showcased what the lethal man is capable of in the ring.

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar had a series of incredible matches in 2022. The final match of their rivalry came at SummerSlam.

The American Nightmare fought through a lot of pain to defeat The Best Incarnate. After the contest, it looked like Lesnar was ready to rip Cody apart to stay true to his character. Instead, in an unscripted moment, he shook Cody Rhodes’ hand and raised it to show his appreciation.

Cody discussed the unscripted moment and said he didn’t see the handshake coming.

"I didn’t anticipate that handshake coming. When I saw his hand, I was grateful. That’s not something he does," the Undisputed WWE Champion said.

It turned out to be one of the most memorable moments of Brock Lesnar’s career and one that likely showcased the passing of the torch.
