Welcome to the January 13 edition of the WWE News and Rumor Roundup. In today's article, we will be looking at topics revolving around Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar, among others.

We will also check out the preview of the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW in addition to covering the retirement news of a legendary wrestler. So without any further delay, let's begin:

#1. WWE RAW preview

Monday Night RAW last week was filled with memorable matches and moments as the show made its debut on Netflix. Triple H and Co. have more entertainment in store for this week's edition of the red brand as multiple matches and segments have been announced for tonight's show.

Rhea Ripley and Gunther are slated to make appearances in addition to the scheduled four matches. Chad Gable will face a mystery opponent while Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria will battle to determine the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion. We will also see a Street Fight between Damian Priest and Finn Balor and another singles match between Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser.

#2. New update on Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is reportedly close to making her WWE return and has already signed a new contract with the company. While many were expecting her to return on last week's show, that was not the case. A new report has now provided another unfortunate update on The Man, noting that currently the creative has no plans for her return.

Nonetheless, Becky Lynch is expected to return to action soon and will most likely be a part of WWE on the road to WrestleMania 41.

#3. Dominik Mysterio recalls Brock Lesnar's major win

Dominik Mysterio has been involved in an online altercation with the New Day over the last few days. Kofi Kingston recently trolled the Judgment Day member by posting a video of the latter getting beaten up by Rhea Ripley.

Dirty Dom, however, hit back by recalling Kingston's infamous defeat against Brock Lesnar on SmackDown where he lost the WWE Championship in six seconds.

#4. Legendary wrestler officially retires; Natalya reacts

Legendary female wrestler Sumie Sakai hung up her wrestling boots after her last match this weekend. The 27-year-veteran was a major name in the Ring of Honor and even received a message from CM Punk before the match. Natalya also reacted to Sakai's retirement with a heartfelt message on Instagram:

"I want to congratulate my beautiful friend @sumiesakai on an amazing career in professional wrestling. Sumi wrestled her retirement match yesterday. I met Sumi in 2005 in Tokyo. It was my first trip to Japan and I was going there to live, train and wrestle for a few Japanese women’s promotions. It was my first big break in wrestling, with my hopes of one day getting signed by WWE. I was intimidated, very scared of failing and I definitely didn’t think I was good enough at the time to work with the greatest women wrestlers in the world."
"So congratulations Sumi on your incredible career and THANKYOU for all you’ve given. In wrestling, it’s never really the end. It’s like Hotel California, you can check out any time you want, but you can never leave."

Sumie Sakai teamed up with EVIL and SHO in her last match. The trio lost the match to Hiromu Takahashi, Mayu Iwatani & Yuka Sakazaki.
