An Attitude Era icon could return at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 to cost Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline in Vancouver, Canada, on November 30. This would be after 3163 days since the star's last singles match. The icon in question is The Rock.
The legendary wrestler last wrestled a singles match at WrestleMania 32, which took place on April 3, 2016. He could return at the upcoming PLE, where the OG Bloodline is set to go head-to-head with Solo Sikoa’s iteration of the faction.
With Paul Heyman bringing CM Punk on board to join the babyface team, Roman and Co. appear strong and cohesive, capable of clinching a dominant victory. However, The Great One’s potential return could shatter their dreams and add new intrigue to The Bloodline storyline.
Recent clues also suggest the 52-year-old might be the mastermind behind the new Bloodline. Hints of The Final Boss' involvement have been brewing since last month’s WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event, where Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Following the match, the former WWE Champion showed up unexpectedly and performed a throat-slash gesture towards Reigns, fueling rumors that he could be in cahoots with The Street Champion.
As The People's Champion was locked in a stare with his cousin in the ring, a fan video from the crowd seemed to catch Solo saying that having The Great One there was “part of the plan.” This has only added to the buzz that he may be the one orchestrating things behind the new Bloodline.
The link stood out after a recent SmackDown episode, where the new Bloodline went after the OG members. On X (Twitter), a fan posted a video of Tama Tonga doing the same throat-slash move. Tonga chimed in with a mysterious “Shhhhhhhh,” which a lot of people took as a hint that The Attitude Era legend could soon make an appearance.
That said, at this point, it's just conjecture, and The Rock might be occupied with his Hollywood endeavors. Let’s wait and watch.
WWE has regularly delivered unforgettable moments at its top premium live events. Fans witnessed CM Punk's epic comeback at last year's Survivor Series: WarGames.
What could be more electrifying than having The Rock steal the show this weekend? If he indeed returns, it could be a pivotal moment in The Bloodline saga. The Final Boss' interference could cement his role as the leader of the new Bloodline.
This twist could not only redefine the faction but might also set up exciting possibilities for future rivalries and alliances.
