WWE Survivor Series WarGames has been shaken up dramatically since Friday. A United States Championship match and an Intercontinental Title match have been added to the card, plus CM Punk joined Team O.G. Bloodline for the Men's WarGames bout.

The other WarGames Match has also had a big shift. On Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill was shockingly seen laid out on the hood and cracked windshield of a vehicle. It has since come out that The Storm will be missing time due to the extent of her serious injuries.

While it wasn't initially clear who would be replacing Jade as part of the Women's WarGames Match, it has since been revealed that Bayley is the person filling in for the Women's Tag Team Champion. This is big news, but it is also news that surprises some.

This article will take a look at a handful of reasons why The Role Model was likely chosen to be the one who replaces Jade at Survivor Series. This includes ongoing stories, her star power, and beyond.

Below are four reasons why Bayley replaced Jade Cargill for WWE Survivor Series WarGames.

#4. Bayley's ongoing issues with Bianca Belair are interesting

The first reason why Bayley was likely added to the Women's Survivor Series WarGames Match has to do with one of her partners. The babyface team at the big WWE event will include Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, and Naomi.

The relationship between Bianca Belair and Bayley has been an interesting one, but also a bad one for both stars. The two are long-time rivals, having fought over the world title multiple times. The two have fought on RAW, SmackDown, and at WWE Premium Live Events.

Despite both being babyfaces now, Belair refuses to let go of the torment Bayley put her through when The Role Model was a heel. Now that the two are forced to be on the same side, how will they get along? The intrigue certainly makes adding Bayley the right move.

#3. Naomi and Bayley have a good relationship

Bayley and Bianca Belair not being on the same page makes a lot of sense. For almost two years, The Role Model was the leader of Damage CTRL. The faction ran roughshod over WWE and Bayley made numerous enemies in that period.

While the likes of Bianca Belair are slow to trust The Role Model, one person who isn't is Naomi. The two were friends before and remained friends once Naomi returned to WWE. They frequently team together even if it makes Naomi's other partner, Bianca Belair, unhappy.

Naomi and Bayley's relationship could be why The Role Model replaced Jade Cargill in the Women's WarGames Match. The Queen Of Glow suggested Bayley join the squad on RAW and she knows she can trust the former champion, so her inclusion makes a lot of sense, at least from Naomi's perspective.

#2. The Role Model's past with IYO SKY adds a lot of intrigue

Bianca Belair isn't the only WWE star with whom Bayley has an interesting past on this Survivor Series WarGames team. While the story of Belair and Bayley has been adversarial from the beginning, The Role Model's relationship with IYO SKY is completely different.

Bayley brought IYO SKY to the main roster as part of Damage CTRL. The two were as thick as thieves for a long time but had a public breakup earlier this year that led to Bayley dethroning IYO SKY of the WWE Women's Championship. She also left Damage CTRL.

Adding Bayley to this match means that the company can play off of the drama between The Role Model and The Genius Of The Sky. Will they fight? Could they show signs of reconciliation? Can the heels take advantage of the tension between them? The intrigue goes a long way in adding to the bout.

#1. WWE likely wanted a big star to fill Jade Cargill's spot

Jade Cargill has only been with WWE for a little over a year now. In fact, her in-ring debut was less than a year ago when she showed up in the Women's Royal Rumble Match earlier this year.

Despite that, Jade is a big star in WWE. Her look, her charisma, and her rapidly improving in-ring skills have led to Cargill being one of the best promoted and most over female performers in the company.

As such, it is important that her replacement is a big deal. Bayley is a Grand Slam Champion and someone who has been in major matches at top premium live events. There are few stars who can fill Jade's shoes, but Bayley is absolutely one of them. This is likely why she was chosen as Cargill's replacement.
