WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will take place in Indianapolis on February 1. Fans are eagerly anticipating this event, and the Lucas Oil Stadium is expected to be packed to the brim. One of the main highlights of the annual Men's and Women's Rumble Matches are the unexpected debuts and returns. In line with this, a two-time AEW champion could debut at the upcoming event.

There have been rumors making the rounds that Penta El Zero Miedo may be on his way to WWE. He previously held the AEW World Trios Championship and the AEW World Tag Team Championship. So considering the Stamford-based promotion is always looking to improve its roster, the door may be open for Penta to make the switch and perhaps debut at the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Now, the reason why this is a possibility comes down to his current contract status. Although Pentagon Jr. is still contracted to Tony Khan's promotion, reports from Fightful Select suggest his deal will be up next week, making him a free agent. With that in mind, and given previous reports about WWE's interest in him, there is no reason why the 39-year-old shouldn't switch companies.

As for why he would likely debut at the 2025 Royal Rumble and not sooner, it's simply down to WWE potentially wanting to make a huge deal out of its latest acquisition's debut. But as always, this is nothing more than speculation at this point. We will just have to wait and see what the future holds.

John Cena's first PLE appearance on his Retirement Tour will be at WWE Royal Rumble 2025

The year 2025 is set to be exciting for both WWE and its fans. Apart from RAW's transition to Netflix, fans will also get to witness John Cena inside the squared circle for the entire year.

The Leader of the Cenation announced earlier this year that he would embark on a 12-month Farewell Tour in 2025. It's going to be a big year for Cena, as he prepares to have a number of his "lasts." This includes his last-ever Royal Rumble, which will coincidentally be his first PLE appearance during the Retirement Tour.

Considering he has been confirmed to appear at the event, it will be interesting to see what The Game has in store for The Franchise Player. Will he compete in the Men's Royal Rumble Match? Will he get a shot at his 17th World Championship? All these questions and more will surely be answered in time.
