WWE Superstars are geared up for WarGames in Canada, as many high-stakes matches are set to go down at the event. Meanwhile, the former Universal Champion, Braun Strowman, cleared the air on a viral clip and made a statement.

Braun Strowman became a household name when he received a major break in the Stamford-based promotion as The Monster Among Men. However, he was away from WWE for a while as the company released him in 2021, only for him to return under Triple H's regime in 2022.

Recently, a clip went viral on X from the Internet Hall of Fame's account, where the former Universal, Intercontinental, and two-time Tag Team Champion was called arrogant after he embarrassingly lost an arm wrestling match.

Today, Strowman cleared the air on the video and stated it was staged for an unreleased TV project, and the user put up an edited video instead of the entire clip. Here's what he wrote under the original clip:

"This video is 3 years old and it’s not real. For crying out loud. This was filmed for a tv show that never went through. Plus this isn’t even original footage it’s cut up. #overthetop but I bet y’all don’t understand that either," Strowman wrote.

Braun Strowman wants to face 3-time WWE World Champion at WrestleMania 41

Earlier this year, Braun Strowman returned after a long hiatus and eventually feuded with Bronson Reed on Monday Night RAW. Unfortunately, another injury slowed The Monster Among Men down in the coming weeks, but he's ready to go after the big one at WrestleMania 41.

In an interview on WWE Deutschland, the former Universal Champion expressed his interest in facing The Scottish Warrior for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas when the time comes:

"Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship. He and I have talked about this, and [have] wanted this, and [have] been close to getting it. It hasn't happened, but I think he and I need a good feud that has a payoff at WrestleMania," Strowman said.

The star hasn't appeared on weekly television after a win over Bronson Reed due to an injury. Earlier this month, he competed in a dark match on Friday Night SmackDown.
