Dominik Mysterio had a horrible start to life as part of WWE's Netflix Era. He witnessed Liv Morgan lose her Women's World Championship to Rhea Ripley on Monday Night RAW.
However, after the match, as he tried to get back with Mami, she hit him with a well-deserved Riptide. This could lead to a reset for Mysterio, who doesn't have a set direction right now. So, what's next for him? Let's look at a few possibilities for Dirty Dom following RAW's debut on Netflix.
After Liv Morgan lost her feud against Rhea Ripley, there is a ton of pressure on Finn Balor to ensure The Judgment Day keeps its pride. He will face Damian Priest in a Street Fight on RAW next week, which could feature shenanigans from the heel faction. Dominik Mysterio may also get involved.
However, unlike Carlito and JD McDonagh, Dirty Dom's presence may actually hinder Balor. Mysterio hasn't been on the best of terms with The Prince, who has quietly assumed leadership duties in The Judgment Day.
As a result, he may cost Finn Balor his feud-ender against Priest. It wouldn't mean a babyface turn per se, as the two Judgment Day members continue fighting it out. The former Universal Champion himself might have a plan, as Dominik Mysterio leaves the group for good.
A month ago, the WWE Transfer Window was announced. While not a lot of moving has been done so far, things could pick up following RAW's debut on Netflix. Dominik Mysterio was spotted talking to Nick Aldis on SmackDown on the night it was announced, in a moment that seems to be forgotten.
WWE can bring that up soon, with Dirty Dom moving over to the blue brand. The entire Judgment Day could join him there to help freshen up the group. With SmackDown being three hours long now, there is a lot of room for their story to be told, whether it's about Mysterio getting kicked out or something else.
As mentioned above, Dominik Mysterio tried to get back with Rhea Ripley after she dethroned Liv Morgan. This may have been a cheap and insignificant move from a slimy heel, but it could have long-term ramifications for Mysterio's relationship with Morgan.
The former Women's World Champion may see what happened and decide that it's not worth staying with Dirty Dom. As a result, she could break up with him, forcing him to fend for himself. It can also be part of The Judgment Day kicking him out of the group.
While Liv Morgan may dump him, one thing is certain with Dominik Mysterio. He seems to be quite the ladies' man. So, if that's what he wants, Dirty Dom could remain a huge part of the women's division, particularly if he moves to SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton is the current WWE Women's Champion and has previously teased a partnership with Mysterio. This could end up being a reality, with Dominik being used as an effective tactic to help the 25-year-old star retain her title. In storyline, it would be his way of staying "relevant."
It would be interesting, though, to see how far a potential relationship between Dominik Mysterio and Tiffany Stratton will go.
