Jey Uso made a name for himself in 2024. While he spent most of his career as a tag team wrestler with his twin brother Jimmy Uso, the 39-year-old finally showed everyone what he could do as a singles star.
He's become one of the company's biggest babyfaces and has been involved in major rivalries and storylines with some of WWE's top talent.
What might 2025 have in store for the Main Event Jey following his victory against Drew McIntyre on the inaugural Netflix RAW? Here are three predictions for Jey Uso this year:
#3. A World Title reign
In 2025, the 39-year-old is ready to step up his game. He recently took to Instagram to let everyone in WWE know that he’s aiming for the World Title this year. WWE could make Uso the World Champion this year to solidify his status as a top contender.
It may not happen on The Road to WrestleMania 41 since there could already be plans for some major title matches like Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena and Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk. However, SummerSlam 2025 could be the ideal opportunity for him to step up and snag the championship at The Biggest Party of Summer.
#2. Roman Reigns could kick Jey Uso out from The Bloodline
Roman Reigns took home the victory in the Tribal Combat Match against Solo Sikoa, reclaiming the Ula Fala during the debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. But by the end of the night, The Tribal Chief might have felt let down by Jey Uso.
When Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Kevin Owens arrived to back up The Street Champion, The Original Bloodline member was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes were there to lend a hand.
Jey Uso understood how crucial the match was for The Head of the Table, but he didn’t step in to help Reigns when the latter was in trouble. This could cause some tension between Reigns and Uso. The OTC might even consider kicking Jey Uso out of The OG Bloodline.
#1. Romance with Rhea Ripley
WWE hinted at a possible romance between the two last year when Jey Uso got thrown into the mix in a love triangle between Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio. Things got spicy when Mysterio got jealous after Uso tried to snag Ripley’s phone number.
The situation didn’t go anywhere after that, as both of them stuck to their own battles. Ripley kept her feud going with Morgan while Jey got back together with his Bloodline crew: Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn.
They didn't appear together on-screen for months after that. However, just last month, Ripley posted a selfie with Jey's poster, sparking fans' curiosity about whether something might be developing between them.
