A two-time WWE Hall of Famer recently took to social media to confirm his appearance on an upcoming NXT show. The name in question is X-Pac, also known as Sean Waltman.
X-Pac is one of the biggest names to ever set foot inside a World Wrestling Entertainment ring. The 52-year-old has won several titles, including the European, Light Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, and Tag Team championships. Sean Waltman was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, first as part of D-Generation X and later for his New World Order (nWo) run.
Following the latest edition of NXT, the Attitude Era legend took to X (formerly Twitter) to send a message to Shawn Michaels. X-Pac wrote that next week's show of the developmental brand looked too good to miss, revealing that he would be at the venue to watch it live.
"Hey @ShawnMichaels, Next week's nXt show looks too good to miss. I'm coming to Orlando to watch it live!" Waltman wrote.
Check out his post below.
During an interview with Chris Van Vliet last year in September, X-Pac revealed that he had been training regularly and believed he would "kill it" in a possible six-man tag team match in World Wrestling Entertainment.
The WWE Hall of Famer also mentioned that he could still do all the moves he used to perform back in the day.
"Most definitely. Yeah, I’ve been training, feeling good. If I needed to be in a match, like a six-man or, you know, something like that, I could kill it. I could do all the stuff I used to do."
Although X-Pac performed inside the squared circle till 2022, his last match in World Wrestling Entertainment took place in 2002. It will be interesting to see whether Shawn Michaels has planned anything for the legend's appearance on next week's edition of NXT.
